Certainly lived at Boscombe Down, no idea about Farnborough though.

In those days ETPS were based at RAE on the South side of the airfield which meant their hangar was within the Airshow static display. They usually put some of their aircraft outside on show. Attached is my photo of the same aircraft, taken on 8 Sept 1962. He has the serial wrong though! XR810 was a VC10! This Viscount was XR802. ETPS also had Viscount XR801. Attachments:
