Unusually we have USAF E4B 73-1677 (JADE56) USAF K135R 58-0093 (QUID89) USAF C17A 07-7174 (RCH511) with us in UK airspace at 1830 today.

Very frequently see such things listed on Mode S, but no real idea where they might actually be unfortunately.

I suffer from the same problem - pick up quite a lot of military stuff but only occasionally do I actually see them. A couple of months ago there were 3 USAF C-130's spaced about 2 to 3 miles apart all flying from east to west to Lyneham - they looked great against a setting sun. Have picked up quite a lot of KC-135's, 757's, 737's, DC-9's, C-5's and C-17's but I can't remember the last one I actually saw...
I have a similar problem with the Russian AN124's that come across - whenever I see one appear I head for the back garden and then keep a look out - normally see 7 out of 10 as an average...
If you find a way of showing them on the SBS - do send the details.
