Boeing 727 VP-CJN is currently being dismantled, cockpit components are being recycled in a commercial flight simulator and the wings can be found outside a hangar near the gliding club. This airframe first flew during 1970 and arrived at Lasham June 2012.
A video I recorded a couple of years earlier.

With the proposed airspace usage changes, will this have an impact on Lasham jet movements? It looks as if LGS will be much more restricted in their usage of airspace and this must have an impact on their operations. Looks like big companies are calling the shots, if I may put it that way.

Thanks for that, I thought that might be the case, but, you never know, do you?

That was scary, saw it between the airfield and Alton, heading the wrong way and low level! I think it had gone around, so was rather surprised to see it where it was, heading east no higher than 1,000ft estimated.

I was not paying much attention, but as I didn't hear a 'bang' I assumed it had landed safely on the return from Hurn.
