Looking through old logs on a visit back in Feb 1988 I noted the following wrecks about teh place
Buccaneer RAE (If I remember the reg had been cut out)XT272? TSR-2 thermal shock rig cockpit area Canberra rear fuselage WT308? Canberra front fuselage Wessex XM330 (read off) Sea Vixen cockpit coded 752 (XP925)
Sea Vixen 8141M (XN688) burnt nose section (opposite where canal bridge is now)
Of most interest was a Harrier fuselage, all silver and very dirty / weathered. (I wrote covered in moss in my log book!) It was in a small compound roughly where the tower ramp is now but very near to the road with other "junk".
Airworthy was ZF521 PA-31
Hope of interest
Bob
