Not seen this Pathe News film before, such good quality, highlights are FAST's G-ARRM at the beginning, Hunter formation take off ! Lightening departures..Blimey, talk about like a rocket ! , Hunter and Lightening formation...very tight ! and that's what I call a run and break !! and finally the Trident over the airfield at the end, I can even see my road :-)

nice post - that is a wicked film - bet that VC10 deafened a few photographers
(my first Farnborough was in 1972 and already the Trident seemed 'old hat')

hi, can anyone, if any at the 62 show, remember a navy formation of 9 Sea Vixens, followed by another 9 of 5 Sea Vixens( Freds 5) with 4 Scimitars tucked in behind? and more importantly their codes or serials...

Yes am looking around the books i have 40 years of farnborough just gives blackburn BUCC 4 FROM 7007 FLIGHT AND 801 SEA Vixen 5 FROM 766 SQDN Nothing else found so far .will keep Looking though got lot books to look through possible if your in area Visit Fast museum or look on there Website for contact info they are sure to know www.airsciences.org.uk/visitor-information.html
