Oh and one I forgot Due Thursday - 5U-BAG B737-200 Phil Many thanks for the definitive list, Phil - always appreciated. Idle curiosity on my part re. the above : As Skyliner reports recent delivery of the République's new Boeing 737-75U(BBJ) (c/n 28976) 5U-GRN , I wonder of this arrival is for regular routine maintenance, or a last Hurrah of a classic 73............. 5U-BAG's visit is for regular routine maintenance. Whilst they have taken delivery of the BBJ the great thing about the 737-200 is that it is a QC with a full freight door so it is much more versatile. It also has the special nose landing gear guards which enable it to land on gravel strips, which I don't think the BBJ has. Will be around for about two to three months as both engines due overhaul. Phil

Another possible arrival this week is one of two Spicejet B737-800's - either VT-SGL or VT-SGO (both ex Ryanair aircraft). The other one is expected about a week later. Just not sure which is coming first.

Malcolm,
Tears still rolling down my cheeks -Classic response -Obviously you are not at liberty to disclose every movement and timing.
Reports and information are always welcomed -Good to see some interesting movements again - Always has the ability to attract visitors that you wont see anywhere else! Remember happier days when you could drive around to the hangers till senseless idiots removed that option.
They could always add to the coffers with hangar tours!!
Invite only I understand -Well my brother went round earlier this year -more to do with his business though.

We keep them a secret just as to keep him on his toes! ATC Open Days were fun. Mind you the last was probably the final one due to the rain and low cloud. Pity as it gave the folk in the tower something to do!

Hi Folks,
I popped into see the Spicejet machines on Saturday (11th) and we counted 8 B727's, sadly only getting 7 reggies. Could anyone confirm the 8th which has a white tail and was parked outside Bay 2 (long-ways on, from Village gate). Could only see the top half of the tail as the rest of the airframe was obscured by an ex FedEx machine G-OSRB (from memory)...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The 7 we could ID were; G-OSRA/OSRB, HZ-AB3, N727EL, VP-CJN, VP-CMO and VP-CZY.
Cheers fellas.
Bill

That is the 'unidentified airframe' that I asked about on the Lasham Movements page last week.

Work is reported to have started on the active part-out & eventual scrapping of two 735s on the field by Air Salvage Int'l. From the photo on social media, one is certainly an ex-Donavia airframe.

Regular B733 G-TOYG was deregistered by the CAA on the 07 Nov. as 'exported to Canada'. Reg C-GPNL has been allocated for new owners Canadian North, operated for Celebrity Cruises in their livery.

I'd debated whether to call it an' Ex-regular' , given its protracted time at Lasham. No doubt its departure from EGHH will be boxed off by your good self and peterV.
