Hi all,
Im visiting family in Hampshire and as a keen aviation enthusiast and photographer ive been looking at places of interest for a bit of spotting/photography while im down. Lasham seems very interesting and im wondering if anyone could let me know if its enthusiast/photographer friendly or if they don't take too kindly to anyone hanging around. photographing aircraft etc.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Drew
You can photograph most from outside the fence line (you can view from both sides). You have the clubhouse at the gliding club end. There is a compound in front of there where you can view from and also see the big stuff from a 3rd direction.
Whilst your down why not pop over to super friendly Popham. Call in the clubhouse and make yourself known and away you go.
Depending on when your down you might even be lucky to view the Odiham Families Day from the outside. See Odiham section for date.
Hope that might help. Dave

Ask at reception in the club house, if you are lucky, gliding club folk might escort you around their patch?

Hi Guys,
Thanks very much for replies. I am going to be down next week from Mon until Fri so hopefully manage to squeeze in at least one visit to somewhere, maybe a few hours at Lasham and a few at Farnborough, but we shall see.
Thanks again.

Might be worth phoning reception at the gliding club before you travel?
