Going through my bookcase and filed away books i wanted to list some of the most interesting publications i have collected over the years. Like probably most Farnborough fans i have virtually all of the airshow programmes since 1952 and flyers ascosiated with them, as well as these i have many of my tickets which luckily were kept intact, including this years!. I also have a nice collection of unused car window stickers from during the early to mid 90s, these seemed to die a death and were discontinued on the souvenier stands at the end of that decade?. My favourite book is Farnborough, the story of the RAE by Reginald Turnhill and Arthur Reed, closely followed by Forever Farnborough Flying the Limits 1904-1996 by Peter J Cooper, this was followed by Farnborough 100 Years of British Aviation also by Peter Cooper. Other fine books include 40 years at Farnborough [Haynes] by John Blake and Mike Hooks from 1989, this could and should be up dated in my view. A couple more include Raymond Baxters Farnborough Commentary from 1980 and Farnborough:The highlights of 26 SBAC Shows [1970].
