Please note that Spots 5 & 6 are on private property and if you loiter for any period of time, you maybe asked to leave

If anyone has a TomTom, I would be interested in the Lat Long of Spot 3 and 2.

I thought Spot 5 was a bit dodgy when I drove in there. There is a barrier at the entrance - is it always up or is it sometimes closed?

Spot 5: Unfortunately, the latest Google Earth aerial photographs are out of date and don't show the more recent developments on the BAe site. Hercules Way (the last right off Aerospace Boulevard) is not gated, although as suggested previously, it is private property, so there is a possibility that you maybe asked to leave if you loiter for any length of time.

Incidentally, the Lat and Long for Spots 2 & 3 are:
51°16'7.27"N 0°47'32.20"W
51°16'10.63"N 0°47'6.01"W
respectively

Some 4 years ago when my partner's son who is a lifelong resident of Farnborough first knew that I had an interest in aircraft made the comment to me that did I know that when TAG or whoever took over the airfield there was a stipulation by Rushmoor BC in the planning conditions that a viewing area should be provided for the public. Whatever happened about this? Anyone know anything.

It was also said no major housing Development would be made near the airfield ZONE of public Safety that also appears to have been lost in Translation. As for the boulavard bit that area is security patrolled but spotters do go there and police have said security dont mind as long as we sign in \out and have ID Cards with us that also appears to have been Forgotten so just play it by ear . But remember the Aviatior area they get very Touchy stay well away. Fast area is Fine as long as you dont wander past the Barriers in RAE ROAD you may be ok weekends but anyother time Security seem to watch more. Slough estates even though there public access and houses watch the security cameras follow you unless they got sod all to do
