hi I Had a good look at the earthworks by Dairy \Sbac entrance today. I have to Say some to the Left hand side look permanent landscaped noise barriers there also appears to be a new Road going in. area nearer the hotel just looks like a soil reclamation Site . Views from there are not That Obstructed but Annoying none the less The Hotel end Under construction I Met a couple of Guys there from Stockport so hello to you hope you found eelmoor easy enough and had a good trip back. Fast Museum Visited as well and the current Exhibits are in black on the website The third picture taken at Fast by the Harrier Looking across at SBAC You can make out the Possible new Road. picture 4 (Light was not Good) looking across the airfield From Slough Estates at the Hotel and Fast area

See you've been out and about today T ,Seems theres alot of change occuring around the field at the moment, lets hope its all for the better in the long run!

hi yes ive come to the conclusion the only way to get up-to-date Info is to get it yourself. Was a nice walk round really warm shame nobody about . We will have to think about Guided tours of the swan area .

Earth works were continuing apace when we visited Dairy Gate at lunchtime. Can't imagine the reason for building the bank other than to keep out prying eyes.

Recently, I have noticed that the piles of earth by the Dairy Gate seem to be getting smaller, so perhaps it's not going to be a permanent feature after all...here's hoping!

The thing that has crossed my mind about this, is that 'Dairy Gate' is a 'crash gate' for emergency vehicles to gain access to the airfield if needed. Just as the one by Eelmore Bridge is.

Drove past again to day and frankly am not Convinced this is not going to end up like by Terminal big grassy mounds . could not stop today to have real good look and take more pics will try weekend.
