I have been working at home the last couple of months but there has seldom been much other than helicopters around the base. However, this week there has been Hercules, a King Air, and today another Hercules touching down. Does anyone know whats happening up there?
Todays Hercules was noted well after 6, unfortunately, I only heard it rattling the house as I was on bedtime duty for my son, but the wife said it flew low west to east down the high street about 10 past 6.

The Hercules that was out of Odiham was XV295 .Callsign Ascot 4302. The King Air was G-FPLA Callsign Calibrator that is used to check the radar at airfields.

Calibrator is also used to check the ILS installations and associated ground approach lighting.

A C130 callsign 'Danish Airforce 1746' took off from Odiham today around 1340 local. Couldn't see it from Eelmore Bridge due to low cloud!
