All over Fighter Control and the rest of the web. 6 USMC Hornets from vmfa -232 arrived at EGUL Saturday afternoon, due out Early Sunday morning. Serials on fighter control (I only need one Also rumours of a further six on Monday 19/10 ? Credit mildenhall google group.

Oh well a 24 hour slip So 6 hornets still in Lakenheath Sunday afternoon.

Local police confirm one fatality (the sole POB). According to a press release by Cambridgeshire Police: "21/10/2015 12:48:49 EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a plane crash on farmland in Redmere, Ely. The military aircraft which had taken off from RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk came down at about 10.30am this morning. We can confirm one fatality and believe there was just one person on board the aircraft. As and when more information becomes available we shall let the public know." RAF Mildenhall have stated: "The aircraft was transiting from Bahrain to Miramar in a flight of six aircraft when it crashed approximately six miles northwest of the airfield. The remaining five F/A-18C's safely diverted to RAF Lossiemouth. The United Kingdom Coast Guard [i.e. HMCG Helicopter] is currently on the scene of the crash site and is in close coordination with U.S. military officials." The aircraft's call sign is reported as being "Mazda 43", and reports are coming in the the pilots body was located approximately one-and-a-half miles from the site of the aircraft crash Sources:
