Re LN-KKU looks like the airtest is cancelled. Only plan is for 1630 departure to Oslo, but there is no confirmed airbourne time so I guess it's still there!

Good to talk to you airchabum, as you guessed LN-KKU is still here, waiting for information from Boeing. Looks like the airtest and redelivery will now take place tomorrow.

Nice to talk to you too Phil. Glad the info is of use. Obviously it's only 'planned data' so it is liable to change (like LN-KKU yesterday).
One currently showing for today: VP-BAA 721 etd 1115 eta 1510 to/from Hawarden

Hi Phil
Yes it is. Sometimes operators do file quite early but the majority file a few hours before departure. Speaking of which, LN-KKU is hoping to have another go tonight:
NAX8802 etd 1935 eta 2055 airtest NAX8803 etd 2100 to Oslo
Cheers

If I don't wake up by 09:00, the DC-8 will awake me from my slumber.

AIN856P just departed, nice to see a DC-8 flying so low over the Hampshire countryside. Made a right hand turn following an Easterly departure passing South and West of my house!

London Mil were unable to accept the air test due workload so it is postponed. Presume it was coming out west? There was a tanker supporting the current "lets get ready for Afghanistan" ex over SPTA and SENTA that had a few receivers.

LN-KKU was airbourne (sic) at 1708 back to Oslo Returned. Looks like it went again at 0900 today. One for tonight maybe: N293AW 752 eta 1915 from AUH but there's no info other than the plan so I don't know whether it's on it's way or not. Cheers

An all white B757 has just flown over my back garden with the gear down, could this be N293AW?
Would the engineers at Lasham kindly return my freeview aerial!

Yes N293AW. Dirty white with clean white over the Cameroon livery. It landed hard and pulled up quick and over heated the brakes! Need the fire dept! Stayed on the end of the runway until things had cooled down.
LN-KKT made to the runway but went tech. Will try again am Monday
5N-BLD 735 was seen and still had SU on the nose doors. VP-BSU.

I guess the culprit was my Freeview aerial embedded in the undercarriage?

Thanksfully I just happened to be passing, saw the radar turning, the beacon flashing and arrived just in time to see it land....fantastic! My first jet arrival since I moved here last year!
