Popped down to Odiham for an hour at lunch today, managed to see a SeaKing and Gazelle dept off the disused and Vigilant ZJ960 dept off 28

Vortex 388 dept, not sure on this one but possibly a Merlin or Puma

Vortex 433, dept to Farnborough Radar then onto Long Valley, this had to be arranged between Farnborough tower and Odiham tower over the landline, after a while the Odiham controller came back on freq stating to 433 "Farnborough tower are a bit confused and you may have to persuede them a little bit as you get closer! ;D

Two Chinooks have been overhead since dusk, flying in large ovals between Odiham and Basingstoke.

Think they are Gambit 2 and playmate, so assume Gambit 1

Vortex 280 , Merlin,just called up Odiham information (21.16) , also believe now the Chinooks are "Lifter" callsigns and not "Gambit"

Lifter 2 has gone tech and had to RTB with sever vibration problems, hasn't declared an emergency
Vortex 280 en route Benson at 22.25
Lifter 1 landed Odiham 22.40
AAC 801 to LFA 22.40
