I have now been posting these radio logs for a couple of months, it can take me up to a couple of hours a day to listen and post these logs (depending on how busy it is of course!) I think on the positive side it has raised an awareness that Odiham on its day can be quite a busy base with some good movements. I am however concerned that there are not many tie-ups registration wise and just wondered if it was worth continuing with the postings in their current format, or wether I should just post some of these more interesting movements. I look forward to any comments, either good or bad on how you guys want these produced

Yes, please keep on as you are. I find them really useful and what might not seem interesting now might be really important in the future.

Jeff
you are top man!
please dont stop!
Though I dont get on here as regularly as I would like to, the information you give is fabulous. I know there is a limit you can say regarding military movements in the public domain, but, not having a scanner (that actually works!), I cant wait to log on and find out what all these Chinooks have been up to all day. And as for other movements, I think they are crucial to the Farnborough Aviation Group to help people link various types flying in the zone (hope thats not stepping on your toes T!).

Out of interest the scanner is only on the approach feq during the day whilst recording, two reasons for this, 1, to make the recordings shorter and 2, it doesn't encroach on what "T" is reporting

HI
No one can encroach on my post cos what ever the post is its Usfull double up or not its wanted there are times i need more info for movements pages and for the forum . i look at every post and am really pleased to See It . My Family committments and now heavily with the Neighbourhood Watch means more of time is limited like this afternoon i spent several hours with Police and other watch members on a problem thats on going and will be am afraid so to see members post updated is real helpfull even if it seems to be just the same few Friends WE HELP EACH OTHER "other lists should take note this is a Hobby not a war on posting on other lists ."

OK, with 100% for keeping the logs the way they are but only 6 people voting, I have decided on a compromise to the logs. The logs will be produced (where possible ) every day except the days that I'm on my 12 hour day shift at work ( I don't really get the time to listen and post after arriving home at 8pm), therefore this will equate to logs for 6 days out of 8, I hope you are all ok with that

Any info at all is very much aprreciated, Jeff. I know what a thankless task it can be as about 8 years ago I used to post a daily synposis of NOTAMs on the mil list.

Unfortunatly the time has come that due to increased pressure at work and a family life that seems to run around being a "taxi service" I can no longer produce these logs on a daily basis I will however have the radio tuned to Odiham while I'm at home so can hopefully give real time heads up on unusual movements intead of letting you know 6 hours after the visitor has departed thanks for all who have supplied tie ups for the movements over the last few months , hopefully these will continue without the daily logs
