Currently about 100 miles west of Ireland at FL370, routing looks good and sky clear, should be trailing so keep your eyes peeled!

Today's NCA190 is JA07KZ. Not yet visible on FR24, but I will keep an eye open for it as I need the frame.

Still no sign of it. Libhomeradar shows that it made the first leg of its journey, from Tokyo to Anchorage, yesterday but no later flight shown.
(Later, at 18.20) Now on the ground at O'Hare. Likely to cross UK airspace in the small hours of tomorrow.
(20.45) Now airborne, estimating Hahn at 01.54 local, so should be with us around midnight. Not staying up for it, bearing in mind the weather forecast (23.45) Over Ireland now, on track to pass over us, will you be watching for it? I won't, I'm going to bed. Good night.

Today's NCA182 is JA06KZ. Currently just north of Montreal, if it comes our way eta is around 14.00. Don't need this one, so won't be tracking it like I did JA07KZ yesterday!
(13.55) Just crossing the Welsh coast at FL410, should be with us in around 20 minutes.

Tomorrow's NCA182 is JA03KZ, just left Tokyo on the first leg of its journey. No sign on FR24 of today's NCA190, but it should be JA01KZ.
(Later) JA01KZ now approaching the west coast of Ireland, track looks good so should be with us around 15.45.

I'm back with the latest news! Today's NCA182 is JA07KZ, one of the two of their 744s I need. It is currently off the west coast of Ireland and heading our way, with skies clearing a good chance of seeing it.

The break in the cloud here didn't last, it went over in full cover. Bother!

Still cloudy here, hoping against hope that it clears before JA08KZ on today's NCA182 arrives. Currently about to cross the river Severn.
(later) Went right overhead, heard it clearly. Did I see it? No I did not!

Yes, I need a new colour on my multicolour spreadsheets for planes heard but not seen - grey would be appropriate!

Today's NCA190 is JA12KZ, currently over the N Atlantic and estimating Hahn at 16.45 local. Looks like they have switched from 744s to 748s on this flight (was JA13KZ above the clouds last week).

Yes, went right overhead at FL350, massive trail. Could almost (but not quite) read off the reg under the wings. My first Nippon Cargo 748.

Sure enough JA11KZ went overhead about 40 minutes ago but today is a complete write-off, low cloud and persistent drizzle. Can't even see the LHR 09 approach so missed A6-EEZ and VT-ANC both needed.

Today's NCA190 is JA13KZ, 748F. Currently somewhere over the Atlantic out of radar coverage, usually reaches us between 15.00 and 16.00. Some breaks in the cloud so may have a chance of making it.
(Later) Now about 100 miles west of Ireland, on track to go over us, ETA Hahn 16.53 local.
(15.18) Right overhead now, massive trail through the hazy cloud.

JA11KZ has appeared on FR24 NW of Ireland. Looks like it's routing will be too far north for me.

Today's NCA182 is JA16KZ, 748F. Currently over New Brunswick (Canada), estimating Hahn 16.51 local. Only delivered recently, so maybe first time in UK airspace.

Thanks for the heads up Jerry, would be nice to see that one assuming it's still daylight here when she goes OTT.

Don't have much luck with Nippon Cargo. Took me ages to clear the 744s, and now 100% cloud cover as JA16KZ went over.
