Donald went on an earlier trip dated 10/03/2011:-
Went on the above tour today having although the tours were full for this year e-mailed Mark at Shawbury and asked if anyone cancelled to bear me in mind. 5 weeks ago an e-mail arrived offering myself a place on the tour, which I obviously took. Following is a list of what I saw hangar by hangar- some have been mentoned following previous visits, but some aircraft change. So here goes.

We were then allowed to go out and take photographs of the 4 Chinooks prior to leaving.
Excellent trip well worth the £10 - well organised and a friendly group of 70 enthusiasts which included the Blackpool Aviation Society and some Dutch spotters as well. Full access given to each hangar. Some spotters I spoke too had been on five occassions or more.
Even received free coffee/tea and biscuits at the end.
Finally there were LOTS and LOTS of cameras some VERY big ones.
Happy Days
