You faired better than me, i was there from about 9.30 till just before 12 and saw a couple of Chinooks & a Lynx (to fair away to get regs)...

I tend to sit under the 09 approach end.
A digital camera does come in handy for the serials and the light has to be good - like todays low winter sun.
I think Odiham is much under rated - you get a good variety of choppers plus Farnborough is available especially when they are on the westerlies.

I enjoy Odiham as you say you do get a nice variety of choppers, but it's just a little hit n miss. I've been down there and there's just been movement after movement, then you get the days like Monday morning when they're just dead.
Was going back there this afternoon, but the lights a bit pants so I think i'll give it a miss and stay in the warm.
