Hi All,
Another selection of scanned slides this time from the 2002 SBAC show.
Not the best quality I have to admit but hopefully of some interest.
To start with some arrival shots from the Swan.
The Omega B707.
Swedish AF Gripen.
US Navy Greyhound.
This was taken from the back of the Army golf course the Hawkeye on a demo flight.
B737 Connexion.
US Navy C40A.
Support AN124.
Gromov AN12 with AN124 in the background, the stuff arrivals week are made of!
Opening day of the show and the arrival of the Virgin A340-600.
Here are some of the static shots on the Wednesday
ATR 42.
An interesting item Georgian AF Sukhoi 25KM Scorpion.
Aero L159B.
Pilatus PC21.
Canadian AF CT142.
Romainian AF MiG21MF Lancer.
Global Express.
Tucked away a mock up of a KAI T50!
A mock up of the EADS Mako which never came to anything.
And now the flying display.
The first production Typhoon for the RAF departing after its fly-by the previous day.
Qatari A330.
Reheat Tornado.
First appearance of an EMB 170.
Airbus Combine an A318 & A340.
Another first timer the AN140.
BAe demonstrator Typhoon.
US Navy F18F.
To end some pics of the flying from outside the show.
A spirited dispaly from an AB319.
Gripen in the sun.
Something different at the weekend 2 ASK 21 gliders.
USAF C17.
And the Reds close the show.
2002's highlight was on the Tuesday only, 4 Typhoons, 2 UK & a German pre production airframes, joined by the first production airframe for the RAF.
A hint of farnboroughs of old.
Cheers for looking
