Just for the record the returning choppers were calling Diamond 1-11 Transitting back to Yeovilton they passed close by Odiham after 18:30 approx. I saw 6 lynx and 2 seaking. The Merlins climbed above the clouds. I maybe wrong but I think they fuel stopped at Biggin.

Nice for Her Majesty to re-route the flypast over my BBQ! I think I can walk faster than a Sea King!

It did in Alton, in fact it lifted at times to allow breaks in the cloud, even saw the Merlins at 3000ft. The odd brief shower, very little rain until 21:00 after the morning deluge. BBQ in the back garden and having looked at the weather radar plots, north of the M3/M4 got a bit wet.

Perhaps Buster should try my meteorology method. I can look into a girl's eyes and tell whether.
