Hi All,
Here's the next batch of my scanned SBAC slides. These come from the 2000 show the first to be held in July.
To start with here are some arrival shots from the Swan.
US Navy F18F.
US Navy E2C Hawkeye.
USAF F15E.
The Demonstrator C27J.
These are trade day shots from outside the airfield.
Who said July has better weather... F18 pulls hard.
Lufthansa A340.
Probably the star of the show Sukhoi SU32FN.
Each morning a pair of Lightships flew over the exhibition this one being the Italian reg'd I-TIRE,
On the helicopter shuttle Agusta A119 Koala.
Now for the static display.
A300 Beluga.
L159A ALCA single seat Albatros.
Mil 17.
One of a pair of S61s.
A very colourful MD600.
An unusual item Summit 2 Trike, this carried a Canadian civil reg.
Murphy Rebel.
Swedish Mu2.
I'm not sure this airframe ever flew but was a ground test rig only Sikorsky S92.
Britair CRJ700.
Saudi AF export Hawk.
Boeing 767.
A340. this is really from the wrong side as on the other wing was a Trent engine under test for the A380.
This year the static display included a historic park, many of the aircraft displayed in it flew at the weekend.
EE Lightning F1A.
Gloster Gladiator.
DH2 replica.
Hunter F6.
The flying display.
Everyday before the flying display there was a fly over by an RAF VC10.
C17A
Gripen.
Typhoon.
Fly over by a B1B.
The Reds break over 18 runway or delta ramp depending on your age!
A highlight for me was the Embraer team. ERJ135,140 & 145.
Another fly over from a Jersey European 146.
Su32FN.
On a demo flight after the flying A319CJ.
Thursday only saw 2 Eurofighters together.
Some weekend extras to the flying display.
Part of a massed DH fly by.
BBMF Lancaster.
P47 & B25.
RAF Tornado F3
Hope you enjoy these.
Cheers for looking.
