Last night when I arrived home at about 6.30pm, there was an umusual sound. This was a helicopter, but not the sound of a large lolloping blade or the grind of a Lynx. To me it sounded more like an EC -135, but all I could see was a red, green or white light!
It was circling Odiham and the surrounding area for some time.
Can anyone help with an ID?

Hi Paul There were two of the new SAS AS365s in the area yesterday (ZJ781 and 782, the latter back again this morning to the east of Basingstoke heading down to Odiham area from the north). I was out yesterday evening so dont know if it was one of these, but possible. Dave

ZJ782 was also around Farnborough today. There was also a Harrier on SBS around 1630 on Monday, lost it at 800ft so guess it went to odiham? Looks like the weekend Hawk is back as noted it on sbs on Friday.
