Long term resident B727-227(A)(F) N727EL (ex N481FE) Msn 21463 has now been completely scrapped by end of play yesterday (04 Jul 2019), all that is left is a pile of metal scrap soon to be skipped away.
G-CECK Savannah which is based on an old airfield near Bath. The owner of this odd looking aircraft was visiting in connection with the planned Human Flight competition to be held at Lasham later this month. Dynamic OE-7108 arrived this evening and will be staying a few days.
With ban on all departures in the London TMA, G-OSRB was effectively grounded. Aircraft weather avoiding was causing Swanwick huge problems. I suggested that the only way out of Lasham was VFR low level and crew jumped at the chance. Farnborough Radar - Brize Radar and then onward they flew.
