Afternoon Chaps,
Just spent an interesting couple of hours up at the FAST museum with Jeff... Noticed the new Gazelle out the front but didn't write down the reg, does anyone have a note of it?
Thanks lads, if anyone wants to see and hear about the RAE at Farnborough I would thoroughly recommend it, we had several really interesting chats with a few of the guys there; Peter, Frank and another Peter had loads of information about all sorts of subjects and I was let loose on the Concorde flight simulator which, as Jeff will testify, self destructed four times without the slightest help from me!!! Honest...
What would be a great idea - what about a FAB Proboard get-together up at FAST sometime in the New Year.
Cheers lads.
Bill

Hi Jeff and Bill, I was one of the "Peters" you met at FAST yesterday - good to meet and put faces to names and glad you enjoyed your visit. The Gazelle you saw is XW863 - have a look at www.airsciences.org.uk/aircraft.html and you will be able to read about its history and that of our other aircraft. Cheers, Peter ps. must have a word with BAE about the Concorde!!
