Hi everyone
Could anyone help me, i'm looking for help trying to complete a log of what was at the show on Sunday 10 September 1990. I have seen a Saturday log on here but am aware things could have departed before Sunday. Mainly interested in the airliners/military transports present.
Thanks for any help
Sean

Sean - So far as I know, the only airliner/mil transport to leave before the Sunday was the USAF C29A which departed back to Hatfield on the 6th, so your Saturday list should hold good for the Sunday. There were however two transport visitors which arrived on the 10th, MM62128/RS-46 G222 of the Italian AF & Tarom AN26 YR-ADL.

Just for completeness, the only other early departure was the Argentine AF Pampa EX-01 which left for France on the Saturday.

Hi Sean - So far as I know all of these, including the final 3, were still present on the Sunday. Additions would be G-BSTA the BAe146 strategic airlifter (painted dark grey with a dummy (?) refuelling probe above the cockpit). With no military interest it went to Australia as a standard freighter. Also, if you count these as airliners, SE-KRX Cessna 208 Caravan which was in full FedEx markings.

I've just had a look in my 1990 diary. This shows that I went into the 1990 show on the saturday (8th) I still have the ticket, priced at £11 (compare that to last year's public day ticket - a crushing £41 - last year's trade day was actually a few quid cheaper!) Well anyway, back to 8th September 1990 I've seen no mention so far of two CASA CN235s I have listed: EC-009 (Binter Mediterranean colours) & EC-014. I also mention B707 YR-ABA. Did this visit FAB over the weekend? Not sure if one would count this as a biz-prop or small airliner, but PT-ZVE Embraer / FMA CBA123 was at the 1990 show. Photos of it here in case you've forgotten what it looked like! www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?regsearch=PT-ZVE

EC-009 was the Binter CN235 that Sean mentioned. The Spanish AF aircraft T19B.03 which Sean mentions also carried EC-014. Not seen any mention of the Tarom 707 but they did send 2 AN26s at the begining and end of the week so its possible that a 707 came as well.

I have dug out an old BARG magazine from my dads house, I can find no mention of a Tarom 707 only the 2 AN-26's mentioned already.
YR-ADJ AN-26 Tarom arrived 28/8 departed 31/8 YR-ADL AN-26 Tarom arrived 10/9
in addiction 03405/405 Hungarian Air Force AN-26 arrived/departed 24/8.
Thanks for everyone's help with this.
Regards
Sean
